Welcome Folu Adepitan as VP of Leasing, South

Chicago, IL – May 13, 2025 – American Industrial Transport, Inc. (AITX) has named Folu Adepitan as Vice President of Leasing, South. This strategic leadership hire strengthens AITX’s growth in the Houston region and underscores the company’s continued investment in the energy sector.

Folu brings extensive experience from Class I railroads, having held key commercial and sales leadership roles at Union Pacific and CPKC. Known for her customer-first approach and ability to build long-term, value-driven partnerships, Folu is well-equipped to enhance AITX’s presence in one of North America’s most critical freight corridors.

In this role, she will focus on growing AITX’s footprint in Houston—a major hub for freight rail and energy—and deepening relationships with regional customers.

Folu holds an MBA in Management & Economics and a BS in Marketing, Finance, and Banking from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She serves on the board of SWARS and was recognized as a ‘Fast Tracker’ 25 Under 40 by Railway Age. A former two-time national collegiate long jump champion, she brings discipline and competitive drive to her professional work.

She will report to Jon Mudronja, SVP of Commercial Leasing – Western U.S., as they work together to expand AITX’s commercial reach and customer partnerships.
